Steps Involved in the Construction of CFA Piling

CFA piling follows a sequential process to create a stable foundation. Below is the step-by-step process that our company follows to ensure efficiency:

Step 1: The first step is to prepare the site for constructing CFA piles; it can be done by clearing the obstacles involved and ensuring our advanced machinery and equipment access to the site.

Step 2: Our CFA piling rig is brought to the site and placed in the required position. Its stability and safety measures are determined and implemented accurately.

Step 3: The drilling process is started by our licenced groundwork contractors with the continuous flight auger. The auger rotates and drills into the soil parallelly, reaching the required depth. As the auger drills down, soil cuttings are brought back to the surface, and concrete is continuously pumped through the shaft to provide stability.

Step 4: Once the borehole is filled with concrete, our specialists remove the auger from the ground carefully to prevent any disruption to the freshly poured concrete.

Step 5: Reinforcement cages are inserted into the fresh concrete for additional strength and stability to the pile, depending on the design of the structure above the foundations.

Step 6: The top of the newly constructed pile is levelled and covered for protection and to provide a durable foundation for the construction to be done above it.

Step 7: The last step is the testing of piles for load-bearing capacity, performed by our specialists to ensure that the pile is constructed according to the required standards and specifications.
